2010 Service above Self Scholarship Award
 

The Rotary Club of Woodridge will be seeking applicants for its “2010 Service Above Self Scholarship” program. The $2,000.00 award recognizes community service by graduating high school student(s) pursuing higher education. The scholarship funds advance education at colleges, trade or technical schools. Eligible applicants include all Village of Woodridge residents as well as non-residents where Woodridge is the primary Rotary Club.

 

Our Scholarship gives financial support to students who have made special contributions to their community. Whether it is building houses, tutoring young children, helping the needy or volunteering at a church, we are looking for students who have made a difference within their community. Academic achievements are important however not a deciding factor for our committee.

 

Applications can be submitted now. The deadline is April 6, 2010. Please direct any questions concerning this award, to Jim Mayo, Chairman of the education committee at jimmayo@sevenbridges.com.
