2013 Four-Way Test Essay Contest
The Rotary Club of Woodridge in conjunction with Rotary District #6450 is offering an essay contest to Woodridge students in grades 6 through 8. The theme of the essay is "How Can I Apply the Four-Way Test to My Life?" The Four-Way Test has been used by Rotarians for over six decades as a practical ethical yardstick to apply to their business, community, and personal affairs.
The criteria of the Four-Way Test consists of:
1. Is it the Truth?
2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
4. Will it be Benefitial to all concerned?
The Rotary Club of Woodridge will award the winning entry with $100 and the representative school with a $100 award presented in the name of the student.
