2020 music Scholarship application

The Woodridge Rotary Club is pleased to offer a $1,000 Music scholarship.  



  • You are a graduating senior.  

  • You are a Village of Woodridge resident.

  • You will attend an accredited community college, trade/tech school, or four-year college or university during the 2020-2021 school year.

  • You have participated in academic music class in high school and/or extracurricular music activities.

  • Pursuit of an undergraduate music major or minor is not required.

  • Composers and/or arrangers qualify for this scholarship.

  • Financial need is not a criterion for selection.

  • To apply for this scholarship, fill out the attached application and send it, along with an mp3 recording (no more than 6MB) or link to YouTube of your playing or musical composition.




  • The application can also be printed by clicking here. Applications can be completed, scanned, and returned by email, or they may be mailed. 


  • The application may be typewritten or printed.  If you choose to print, please do so legibly so that the Rotary Scholarship Committee can give you full credit for all that you submit. Use extra sheets as necessary and list your name on each.

  • Don’t forget to include your Letter of Recommendation and your MP3 recording or YouTube link.




Applications should be submitted electronically or via email to Pam Dubé at pdube@woodridgelibrary.org, or be printed and returned by mail or in person to Woodridge Public Library, 3 Plaza Drive, Woodridge IL 60517 by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020. Please mark the envelope as “Rotary Scholarship.” Unfortunately, no exceptions to the deadline can be made.
