Rotary Youth Leadership Activities

Rotary Youth Leadership Activities (RYLA) is a training program for leaders and potential leaders. It is an all-expense paid four day camp providing an effective training experience for selected youth in local area high schools. The Woodridge Rotary club sponsored three students from Downers Grove South to attend. They are given the opportunity to express ideas and concepts, to feel and give acceptance of and to each other, and to experience the joy of teamwork. They learn how to reach out and make new friends. This annual event demonstrates Rotary’s respect and concern for youth. President Debbie Mascitti and member Beverly Tripp attended and volunteered their time on Saturday of the weekend long activities.

Rotary International District 6450 Family Fun Day

Over 500 Rotary family members, friends, and supporters attended the Chicago White Sox vs. New York Mets game on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. The price of each ticket included a contribution to our “End Polio Now” project. 100% of the ticket profits will go to “End Polio Now.” We are just inches away from our final target of eradicating the polio virus in the entire world.

It was a fun event! Look at those happy faces of the Woodridge Rotary Club.
